Career Summary
Helen’s first career experience was in a large chartered accounting firm, and after that she worked as a contract writer and tax agent, before pursuing an academic career. She has taught at university level for over 20 years, joining the QUT in 2008 from the University of Wollongong. Helen’s doctoral thesis was on the institutionalisation of accounting practices in a large religious/charitable organisation.
