Career Summary
Marion Hutchinson joined QUT in 2008 as an Associate Professor in the School of Accountancy. She previously worked as a Senior Lecturer in the UQ Business School at the University of Queensland and the School of Accounting and Finance at Deakin University, and as a lecturer at the Australian National University. In addition, Marion has over 20 years experience as a partner in a small manufacturing firm.

Research Interests
Marion’s research interests include corporate governance, managerial incentives and firm performance, and the governance of superannuation funds. She has authored a chapter on corporate governance in the text, Ethics, Governance and Accountability. Marion is also a recipient of a large ARC Discovery Grant investigating the governance characteristics of superannuation funds.
