Career Summary

Phil Joined QUT in February 2008, having worked previously as a lecturer and unit coordinator of taxation and accounting at Central Queensland University in Rockhampton. Prior to joining the academic sector in 2003, Phil had an extensive experience in tax practice in Brisbane. Phil also worked in various accounting positions in Europe, the UK and Australia, including Dyno Nobel in Sydney.

Phil’s current research activity focuses on the managerial benefits of tax compliance in small business. Phil’s research has been the object of a PhD thesis and of several refereed papers.
