Chris Royle – Bachelor of Business (Marketing / International Business) student
Chris Royle’s decision to study Business at QUT is already taking him places. With majors in Marketing and International Business, Chris was awarded the Mannheim University Scholarship. This fully-funded 14 day international study exchange program exposed him to German business culture – with a whole lot of fun on the side.
“The most valuable aspect of the program was gaining insights into German culture through organised sightseeing activities, guided tours and networking opportunities with some of Germany’s largest companies such as John Deere. QUT supported the whole process and it was an excellent opportunity to broaden my horizons and extend my studies.”
Adding to his International experience, and with his eye on a career in marketing, Chris is currently undertaking a four month Marketing Assistant internship with Coca-Cola Amatil through the Corporate Partners In Excellence (CPIE) program as he completes his degree.

Student Exchange program
QUT’s outbound Student Exchange program offers you up to four units of study per semester, for one or two semesters, at an international partner institution of your choice. Your overseas study program will utilise your electives within your Business degree.
Units can be taken in a Business or non-Business discipline area, including a language – the choice is yours.
Study tours
Short-term study options, including study tours and shorter language programs of 4-6 weeks duration, are also available at selected partner institutions during the mid-year and end of year breaks.
