Tri-university Language Alliance
Languages are delivered through an Australian-first alliance between QUT, the University of Queensland (UQ) and Griffith University (GU). This alliance is designed to expand tertiary options available across a range of Asian and European languages and is approved and funded by the Australian Government.
Studies are available in:
- French (UQ)
- German (UQ)
- Indonesian (UQ)
- Italian (GU)
- Japanese (UQ or GU)
- Korean (UQ)
- Mandarin (QUT)
- Russian (UQ)
- Spanish (UQ or GU)
If you wish to study a language other than Mandarin you will be able to enrol as a cross institutional student at GU or UQ. Incorporating Language study in your Degree at QUT
Depending on your course, you may complement your degree by undertaking language studies which could consist of
- A minor (4 units) or
- Second major (6 units) or
- Option units (electives)
